Co-curator of Coal and Ice, Susan is a photojournalist associated with Magnum Photos, and is best known for her 1970s photographs of two subjects: American carnival strippers and war-torn Nicaragua. She has been the recipient of several awards throughout her career, including a MacArthur Fellowship in 1992.
